Please be aware; warranty cases will not be accepted by RidingGear.ca or Argyll Motorsports & Marine unless the manufacture policy states otherwise. AGV

AGV guarantees products will be free from design and material flaws for a period of 1 (one) year from the date the products are purchased. Warranties will be invalidated if the product is used or washed in a manner that is not appropriate for the product or in line with the instructions/warnings. This warranty shall apply to any product seen to have conformity flaws and/or malfunctions that could not be seen at the time of purchase. This warranty shall not apply in the case of negligence or lack of care in product use and maintenance. Products must be complete with all packaging and accessories and documents received at the time of purchase. Returning the product without its original packaging, accessories or documentation will make any repair or replacement void. Arai helmets are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship, and are serviceable, only for the properly fitted first user, for 5 years from date of first use but no more than 7 years from date of manufacture. It should be replaced within 5 years of first use. All warranties can be handled by your local Arai dealer, with proof of purchase.

All Backcountry Access products are guaranteed against manufacturing or material defects. Items will be warrantied at the discretion of Backcountry Access. BCA does not warranty products damaged from normal wear and tear, alteration made by owner, accidents or damages caused by use other than intended. 

Tracker Avalanche Transceivers – 5 year warranty from original date of purchase. 

All Other Products – 3 year warranty from original date of purchase. Out of warranty products are eligible for the BCA upgrade program.

Bell

 Any Bell helmet determined by Bell to be defective in materials or workmanship within one (1) year from the date of original purchase will be repaired or replaced, at Bell’s option, free of charge when received at the factory freight prepaid, together with proof of purchase. Select helmets will be covered under a five (5) year warranty. If you have questions regarding the warranty coverage on your helmet, call us at 800-456-2355, e-mail us at consumersupport-bell@bellhelmets.com or refer to your helmet owner’s manual. 

All Bell warranty claims should be submitted via your local Bell Helmet Dealer.

Belstaff

Belstaff takes great pride in the design and craftsmanship of all its products. We seek to use only the finest materials and the highest manufacturing standards. We strive to make sure every item we sell is impeccable. In the unlikely event that a Belstaff product does not match up to our high standards we will try our hardest to address the problem. Our jackets and footwear carry a 24 month guarantee from the date of purchase, our accessories carry a 12 month guarantee. Upon alerting to us to an issue with your item you may be requested to email us images of the damaged article. We will then make an initial assessment and come back to you with the next course of action. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by wear and tear and misuse of the item.

If your item has been purchased from one of our Authorized Partners we would advise that you reach out to them in the first instance. They will then make arrangements with the relevant team at Belstaff to resolve the issue.

Biltwell

Biltwell accessories are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from date of purchase. This warranty does not include normal wear and tear or general neglect. Surface finish imperfections and/or surface degradation due to aging and weather are not covered by this warranty.

To submit a product for warranty inspection, please follow these instructions:

1) Contact our warranty department to retain an Return Merchandise Authorization number by e-mailing warranty@biltwellinc.com  or calling (951)699-1500.

2) Include your full name, phone number, email and shipping address on a letter, and attach proof of purchase for our reference (invoice, bill of sale, cash receipt, etc.) No warranty claims will be considered without return of merchandise authorization and proof of purchase. NO EXCEPTIONS.

3) Pack the product with cover letter, proof of purchase and return merchandise authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the box in a tightly packed, well-sealed box.

4) Return the product to Biltwell via UPS, FedEx or any other carrier that requires signature for delivery confirmation. We cannot be responsible for returned merchandise lost in transit. Ship to the address below.

Dainese

The Dainese warranty covers any type of manufacturing defect or defect in the materials with which the product was manufactured for a period of one year except for the following exclusions.

Any non-conformity of the product with its expectations in any way generated shall not be considered a defect for the purposes of this warranty.
Expressly excluded from the Warranty:

  • Anti Fog visors, mirrored visors or other materials or components;
  • Paints sensitive to atmospheric agents (fluorescent colours, matt/mat/soft touch paints, also for chromatic alterations);
  • Padding and inner linings;
  • Comfort flap of the chin strap;
  • Electronic components;
  • Airbags and related operating mechanisms.

Damage arising from the following is also excluded: improper use, normal wear and tear (es. Wear and tear skin/tissues, mechanisms, chin guard, interiors, visor seals), damage, tampering, incorrect product maintenance, negligence or carelessness, damage caused by falls and/or accidents, or by alterations due to external causes, including any repairs carried out by unauthorised persons, damage caused by other factors/acts outside Dainese's control, subjective user evaluations such as comfort and fit, damage due to prolonged exposure to light sources and/or heat sources. Forma standard warranty period is 12 months from date of purchase, and covers faulty workmanship and manufacturing defects. Please be aware boots used for racing or used in a racing environment may not be covered under warranty for instances such as abrasion, excessive sole wear or delamination, velcro or simple stitching issues as they are generally considered to be wear and tear and not covered under the standard warranty policy. Forma will always review a product for warranty regardless of if it has been raced in to assess if it is a manufacturing fault or general wear and tear.

It is important to note, some disciplines of racing do put excessive strain on a product which may lead to damage that is not be covered under warranty as it may not deemed a manufacturing defect. Most soles can also be replaced or re-bonded, and most stitching and velcro can be repaired with appropriate spare parts sold separately.

Please visit the dealer where you originally purchased our product and they will assist you with starting a warranty claim.

Fox

Regretfully, Fox product sold on RidingGear.ca is not covered under any warranty terms or conditions as it is all pre-2018 merchandise. We apologize for any inconvenience.

FXR

FXR warrants our products to be free of defects in materials, contents and workmanship. Our products fall into two distinct warranty categories:

  1. Snow outerwear, helmets, gloves, boots, and goggles are covered under a 3-year progressive warranty.
  2. Race Division and Lifestyle collections, along with all other product not listed above, are covered for 1 year.

FXR’S WARRANTY IS NOT APPLICABLE IF:

  • Damage was the result of an accident.
  • Damage due to improper maintenance, or care.
  • Damage due to neglect, or normal wear and tear.

SOME EXAMPLES OF DAMAGE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY ARE:

  • Material that has been snagged, ripped, torn, punctured, abraded or burned.
  • Fading from sun exposure, staining, improper washing care, or failure to follow FXR’s care instructions.

Every product is susceptible to normal wear and tear though the lifetime of the product. The term Lifetime/Lifespan does not apply to the owner's lifetime. Our product is not meant to last the lifetime of the owner but the lifetime of the product. The lifetime of the product can be accelerated through high frequency and/or aggressive use, or through age itself, and can contribute to advancing the rate of natural breakdown of the product.

For all purchases of FXR product through a dealer/store, please return to the retailer with the original proof of purchase. If upon inspection by the dealer and FXR’s warranty department, the warranty claim is deemed as valid, then FXR will repair, or replace the product at our discretion.

All items being sent for repair, are required to be clean before forwarding for warranty service. If the garment received by our warranty department, is not deemed as clean, then a $25 cleaning fee will be issued and will be payable before return of the garment. Any fees incurred and not paid within 30 days of invoice will forfeit all warranty service.

For warranty service, if an exact replacement is not available, then one of equal value in the same size and color will be issued. All repaired warranty product will be covered for the remainder of the warranty period, from the original purchase date. Shipping costs are at customer’s expense.

HJC

HJC hereby extends a limited warranty to the purchaser of HJC helmets that the helmet is free of defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is applicable to manufacturer’s defects only and the warranty period varies between HJC models. The RPHA Series warrants up to 5 years from the date of purchase or 7 years from the date of manufacture, while all other models warrant up to 3 years from the date of purchase or 5 years from the date of manufacture (whichever comes first). This warranty does not apply to any problems that arise from wearer’s misuse, negligence, modifications, accidents, etc. A change of fluorescent color is not subject to warranty as this is a typical characteristic of fluorescent color; it may fade or degrade depending on the user’s environment. 

In order to receive the warranty, please take your helmet, along with your receipt of purchase showing the date of purchase, with a brief memo describing the problem, your name, and phone number and go to a dealer where you purchased the helmet from. All Icon products are warranted for a period of 1 year from date of purchase against any defects in materials and workmanship. As riders, we know that our products are subject to severe conditions and stress. If you experience a problem with one of our products we want to know about it. We kindly request you return your product to the dealer where you originally purchased it (along with your original sales receipt). Your dealer will assist you with returning your product to our distributor, Parts Canada. We will then evaluate your claim based on our findings.

All Joe Rocket Canada gear is covered for a One (1) year period from the date of purchase to the Original Retail Purchaser. Warranty covers factory defects such as defective seams, snap failure and/or zipper failure. Items returned to Joe Rocket Canada for Warranty Consideration must be accompanied by a copy of the Original Purchase Receipt and when possible, the item should be cleaned before returning unless cleaning would further compromise the defect or damage the product (such as damaging waterproofing). /joe Rocket Canada will REPAIR zippers, snaps and most seam failures. We warrant *every product we make to be free of material, manufacturer, or workmanship defects for the **practical lifetime of the product. Additionally, all KLIM GORE-TEX® products are GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY® for the **practical lifetime of the product. If these products fail due to a manufacturing or material defect, we will repair the product without charge, or replace it at our discretion. This warranty is not transferable.

* KLIM BOOTS are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one [1] year from the date of purchase. Aggressive running boards will accelerate the wear and tear on the soles of the boots. This is considered normal wear and tear.  General warranty terms apply.

* KLIM GOGGLES are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one [1] year from the date of purchase. Scratches and fogging are not covered under this warranty.  General warranty terms apply.            

* HELMETS are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for five [5] years from the date of purchase.  General warranty terms apply.

*Products distributed by Klim on behalf of another manufacturer are subject to that manufacturer’s warranty.

** What does the practical lifetime of the product mean?  The practical lifetime of a product is not indefinite. The intensity under which the product is used determines this factor. Materials will deteriorate and fade over time and moving parts will wear out. We design our products to endure extended periods of use. Use your best judgement, if it looks worn out then it likely is.  It may be time to simply replace your product, we hope you will give Klim the opportunity to enhance your experience in the most demanding conditions.

The following items will void the lifetime warranty of the product even if the issue is unrelated to these damages:

  • - Rips, tears, cuts
  • - Burns, abrasions
  • - Accidents, crashes
  • - Improper Care, negligence
  • - Normal wear and tear
  • - Modifications, alterations
  • - Use other than the product’s intended purpose

Please wash and dry your garment before sending it in.
This will avoid a $25.00 Cleaning Fee and up to a 4 business day delay in processing - required prior to the evaluation and to insure the health and safety of our employees. If a manufacturing or material defect is found, our first option will be to repair the item, free of charge. Repaired items will be subject to available parts.   • Bubbles or imperfections in lens coating
  • Premature flaking or deterioration of frame coating
  • Soldering defects of temple hinges and/or barrels

What is not covered by warranty?

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches or pit marks on sun lenses)
  • Any damages caused by accident, abuse, neglect, shock, improper use or storage of product
  • Damage caused by chemicals (hair spray, cologne, window cleaner, alcohol, etc.)

All Oakley apparel is warranted against defects in material or workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase. All Oakley accessories and gloves are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. Warranty claims are to be made through the Authorized Oakley dealer where purchased. Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer. The Oakley warranty program does not cover any defects due to improper fit. Alteration of Oakley products will void warranty.

 Olympia products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, originating from the point of manufacture, for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.

Should a warranty claim arise, return this garment, with proof of purchase to your dealer. Your dealer will then forward the garment to Olympia for evaluation. If Olympia deems the garment to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced at no additional cost to the purchaser. Olympia will not be liable for damages or expenses arising from the direct or indirect use of this garment except to repair or replace it as covered by this warranty. Roland Sands

 RSD Apparel is warranted against defects in material and workmanship from the original date of purchase for a period of five (5) years for leather jackets and one (1) year for textile jackets and leather gloves. RSD Apparel will, within the first ninety (90) days of purchase, replace the item if after inspection the garment is deemed to be not in conformance with our standards. After ninety (90) days, the warranty is limited to the repair of the parts and the necessary labor and services to repair the item. If the item after inspection is deemed non-repairable, RSD will replace the item or if item is discontinued or not available, an item of equal value at RSD discretion. Only the original purchaser of this product is covered under this limited warranty. This warranty is non-transferable. Original proof of purchase is required.

Please return your product to the authorized retailer from whom you purchased it from, along with your original receipt. Upon inspection the retailer at its discretion will determine if the garment is eligible under our limited warranty. If deemed warranted, the retailer will return it to RSD for inspection where at our discretion the item will be repaired or replaced. No other expense will be incurred by you.

This limited warranty does not cover changes to the color of the leather/textile, scratches, tears, or other damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident damage or improper care or cleaning.

Goods are classified as faulty where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

SCHUBERTH has ambitious goals: the highest standards of quality, maximum safety and the best possible helmets. This also includes having the best possible warranty, which is why SCHUBERTH offers a five-year warranty from date of purchase on all its motorcycle helmets.

To bring a claim under the manufacturer’s guarantee proof of purchase is of course required. Purchasers can also view the general terms and conditions of business for the guarantee there. Sena Technologies, Inc. warrants that products shall conform to and perform in accordance with published technical specifications and the accompanying written materials, and shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years for the helmet and two (2) years for the electronic parts, from the date of purchase by the first consumer purchaser of the Product except for the PowerPro Mount or Powerbank. The devices have a Warranty Period of only one (1) year from the date of purchase by the first consumer purchaser of this product. This warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement, at Sena's discretion, of defective or non-conforming Product, and Sena shall not be responsible for the failure of the Product to perform specified functions, or any other non-conformance caused by or attributable to: (a) any misapplication or misuse of the Product; (b) failure of Customer to adhere to any of Sena's specifications or instructions; (c) complementary equipment or software not furnished by Sena. Limited warranty service may be obtained by delivering the Product to Sena or to the international distributor it was purchased through, and providing proof of purchase or dated receipt. Customer agrees to insure the Product or assume the risk of loss or damage in transit, to prepay shipping charges to Sena, and to use the original shipping container or equivalent. Shoei

 Your SHOEI helmet is covered under warranty for five years from the purchase date, or seven years from the date of manufacture (whichever comes first). The warranty covers all manufacturing defects. Please note that damage caused by the consumer (i.e. dropping the helmet, etc.) is not covered under warranty.

SHOEI warrants to customers only new helmets purchased from authorized Shoei® dealers in their own country. Shoei does not warrant Shoei® helmets purchased from a country different from the customer's own country of residence, or helmets purchased in one country for use in another country, because regulatory standards or certification requirements for helmets vary from one country to the next. Helmets purchased from outside of the customer's own country may not have been designed with the features and aspects intended for buyers in the customer's country that are important for making Shoei® helmets a world leader in premium motorcycle helmets and for providing the Shoei® experience. Shoei®, on behalf of itself and its dealers, disclaims any obligation to provide warranty service for helmets purchased outside of the country where the helmet is presented for warranty service.

Be sure to include a letter with a brief description of the issue with the helmet, as well as a daytime phone number and return address. Once we receive the helmet it will take 1-3 business days to complete the inspection. Upon completion the helmet is returned to you with a letter stating the findings of our inspection. Your helmet is returned to you if it passes the inspection or not. There is no charge for the inspection, and the UPS Ground return shipping is free. Sidi

Motonation guarantees its footwear and products to be free from defect in materials or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase for the original owner. A product recognized as defective by Motonation will be repaired or replaced at Motonation’s discretion. You must establish proof of purchase to obtain warranty service or replacement. Motonation will only warranty products purchased from authorized SIDI dealers. In order for the warranty to apply to online purchases, an itemized receipt from that dealer must be included. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties. Any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the same duration as this express warranty. Motonation is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not cover any representation or warranty made by a dealer beyond the provisions of this warranty. If you are asked to return your boots or shoes for service, please remove any non SIDI items such as cleats or insoles. Any extra items will only be returned by request at the owner’s expense.

The Motonation warranty does not cover:
1. Products without an invoice or sales receipt, which makes it impossible to establish the date and origin of sale, and also due to the risk of illegal or illicit provenance (e.g. stolen, sold in violation of the fiscal regulations, etc.).
2. Products that have reached the end of their normal life cycle.
3. Damage due to accidents, negligence, misuse, corrosion, incorrect installation, improperly performed repairs, use of incompatible spare parts or components, unapproved modifications or normal wear and tear.
4. Consumable materials including heel pads, mechanical enclosures, replacement treads, soles etc.
5. Any expenditure related to the transport of the product to and from an authorized Service Center.
6. Labor costs associated with removing the product from the shoe, and preparing it for shipment.
7. Compensation for inconvenience associated with not being able to use the product while being repaired or replaced.

Simpson

Simpson Performance Products warranties all product materials and workmanship when used according to manufacturer instructions. This warranty does not include damage as a result of misuse, abuse or normal wear and tear. We will provide replacement parts or products at our sole discretion. Speed & Strength

All Speed and Strength gear is covered for a One (1) year period from the date of purchase to the Original Retail Purchaser. Warranty covers factory defects such as defective seams, snap failure and/or zipper failure. Items returned to Speed and Strength for Warranty Consideration must be accompanied by a copy of the Original Purchase Receipt and when possible, the item should be cleaned before returning unless cleaning would further compromise the defect or damage the product (such as damaging waterproofing). Stylmartin warranties any material and manufacturing defects for one year. Warranty must include a description and a picture(s) of the defect(s). All Thor products are warrantied for a period of 1 year from date of purchase against any defects in materials and workmanship. As riders, we know that our products are subject to severe conditions and stress. We test all of our products in real world applications utilizing our factory riders and test riders to ensure our products are built to the highest standards. Your dealer will assist you with returning your product to our distributor, Parts Canada. We will then evaluate your claim and either repair, replace, or return the product based on our findings.

TOBE guarantees all 2.0 Outerwear to be free of manufacturers defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the garment. The lifetime of a product unfortunately does not mean your lifetime; gear has its own lifetime depending on the circumstances and the intensity in which it is used.In the event of a failure originating from a material or manufacturer defect during the lifetime of the product, the garment will be repaired or replaced at no charge. In order to serve our customers in the most time efficient and effective manner, we will always attempt to repair the garment before initiating a replacement.Signs that the garment has reached end of life include fabric fading, discoloration, broken zippers, fraying at cuffs and/or hems, the accumulation of small tears and signs of consumer repairs. This list is by no means all encompassing. Rips, tears, cuts, punctures, burns, accidents, improper care, negligence, normal wear-and-tear will void the guarantee even if the issue is not related to these damages. This guarantee applies only to the original purchaser with a valid proof of purchase. If the product is modified by the owner outside of an authorized repair facility, the guarantee is void. We require that all items accepted for repair be received freshly laundered. We understand that this may be inconvenient, but we want to ensure the health and safety of our staff.

All other TOBE Outerwear, mid and base layers, casual wear and accessories are covered by a 1 year limited warranty against manufacturer or material defects. In the event of a failure originating from a material or manufacturer defect during the 1-year warranty period, the garment will be repaired or replaced at no charge.

TOBE boots carry a 1 year limited warranty against manufacturer and material defects. Running boards can be detrimental to the soles of the boots and can accelerate signs of wear.  This is considered normal wear and tear and is not covered under warranty.

At Troy Lee Designs we take great pride in the quality and fit of each of our products. We will stand behind them 100%. If for any reason, you have not been completely satisfied, TLD will provide the following warranty policy.

We offer virtual warranty inspection on all our products by sending an email with photos to customerservice@troyleedesigns.com. The warranty policy covers the product only in the case of manufacture defect. It does not cover products damaged due to normal wear and tear, negligence, improper care, natural breaking or fading of colors and materials over time and/or exposure.

TLD may request the defective product for further inspection. A prepaid UPS label will be emailed. Once received and inspected, a replacement of the same or "like" item will be shipped.

You will be contacted once the inspection is completed and informed on what action will be taken.

The 100% limited warranty covers all manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of (1) year from the original date of purchase from our website or at an authorized 100% dealer or web reseller. Coverage is valid only for the original purchaser with proof of purchase from ride100percent.com or the authorized 100% dealer or web reseller. The product will be repaired, or replaced, if, upon inspection, 100% finds it to be defective in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accident, abuse, acts of nature, improper use or maintenance, negligence, impact, or repairs or alterations outside of our facility. The limited warranty program does not cover scratched lenses and scratched lenses will not be replaced under 100%’s limited warranty policy. Replacement lenses for 100% goggles and sunglasses can be purchased through your local authorized 100% dealer or directly at ride100percent.com or by calling 619-876-4202.

DAMAGE TO THE HELMET AFTER AN IMPACT IS NOT A SIGN OF ANY DEFECT IN THE HELMET DESIGN OR CONSTRUCTION. IT IS THE RESULT OF THE HELMET DOING EXACTLY WHAT IT IS INTENDED TO DO – MANAGE IMPACT ENERGY.

We understand accidents happen. If you were in an accident and your helmet sustained an impact, please contact 100% directly to get more information about our Helmet Crash Replacement policy.

If you desire to return product for service or warranty consideration, you will need to email CustomerService@ride100percent.com or call 619-876-4202 in order to get a WRA number (Warranty Return Authorization Number) and shipping address. All products shipped to 100% without this WRA Number will be refused. Please be sure to include in the package the correctly filled WRA form, which will be emailed back to you, and your proof of purchase. The customer returning product for warranty consideration must pay the freight to deliver it to 100%.  If the product is deemed a warranty issue, then 100% will service, repair or in its sole discretion replace the item and pay the freight to return the product to you by normal ground transportation.

Contact 509 directly 877-743-3509 and the issue will be diagnosed over the phone or email. If the issue is covered under warranty, you will need to attach a photo of the issue to the customer support ticket here https://www.ride509.com/customer-support-ticket . 509 will either require the defective item to be returned to us, or we may issue a replacement part with no return required. 

Our warranty coverage differs for each product. Goggles: Lifetime warranty on frame, strap, nosemasks, outriggers, hinges, trim pieces against manufacturer defects. 1 year warranty on lens & foam against manufacturer defects. Normal wear and tear from typical use is not covered. Goggle Lenses: 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects. Does not cover scratches or normal wear and tear use. Goggle Accessories: 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects. Helmets: Lifetime visor warranty covers broken or damaged visors for ANY reason. 1 year manufacturer defects warranty on the helmet shell, liner, and accessories. Helmet shell is not covered against abuse or impacts. Apparel: 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects.

PURCHASES MUST BE REGISTERED TO QUALIFY FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE! 

To register your products please submit a Customer Support Ticket with the following;

  1. The item description or part number if known.
  2. Your name, full shipping address, and phone number.
  3. The date and place you purchased the product. If you did not purchase directly from 509's website or register your purchase in our warranty system, please send us a copy of your receipt.

The end goal of the entire 509 warranty program is to make customers happy. While we highly prefer to handle all 509 warranty claims directly, we do understand there are special circumstances where you want to deal with your local shop. These special circumstances, should first be approved by 509, whenever possible, and should always follow the above listed warranty periods.
