The SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON takes Sport Touring to the next level. Its 100% carbon shell, built using our Formula 1 process, delivers exceptional shock absorption and reduced weight, creating the ultimate helmet for riders who ride fast and far.
The SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON is suited for the SC2, SC2 Standard and SC Edge communication systems.
The full Carbon shell of the S3 CARBON is produced with the same lamination and autoclave curing processes of our Car Racing helmets, but even more important the shell is handmade by the same highly specialized technicians who produce the helmets of the current Formula 1 World Champion.
The manufacturing process of the new S3 CARBON is based on the “one man, one shell” principle, meaning that the highly specialized technician who starts the lamination will complete the entire shell production process.
Following the lamination process, the carbon mould is closed and dedicated operators carefully wrap and vacuum each mould to prepare it for the curing cycle into the autoclave.
The SCHUBERTH PERFORMANCE autoclaves generate a proprietary combination of pressure and temperature within a precise time frame scheme. This cycle, lasting up to four hours, transforms the carbon fiber layers and their resin into a monolithic piece, which will be your helmet, and which is able to offer an outstanding mechanical strength and lightweight performance.
The SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON closing system is made with a Double-D ring, to provide the highest level of safety. The same closing system used in Moto GP and Formula 1, is made with a specific layout and using an alloy made with magnesium and aluminium, to provide the lightest and safest closure.
At SCHUBERTH safety is our main focus. The S3 CARBON offers rises the bar, offering a full-face helmet with ECE-R 22.06 Homologation and monocoque carbon fiber shell for improved shock absorption and lighter weight.
Just like the whole SCHUBERTH collection, the S3 benefits from the Anti-Roll-Off-System connected with a chin strap in a new advanced position for improved comfort on the throat area.
The S3 CARBON features the S.R.S (SCHUBERTH RESCUE SYSTEM), the system allows emergency services to remove the cheek pads by pulling on the 2 lashes and reduce the forces applied to the rider's neck, facilitating the removal of the helmet in critical situations, preventing damages.
An optimum head thermoregulation maximises the rider's performance and comfort. For this reason, the S3 CARBON is designed to combine the ultimate ventilation of the dual chin air intake, with a back spoiler featuring air exhaust and exposed EPS ventilation channels.
SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON features a double chin Air Intake integrating a washable and exchangeable filter for proper breathing while riding in extreme conditions. The ergonomic buttons offer an easy adjustment of the two variable front vents.
The most advanced technology just for your SCHUBERTH S3. Extremely easy to install, to configure and use, the SC2, SC2 Standard and the SC EDGE set a new standard for motorcycle communication. The microphone, HD speakers, microphone and three antennas for FM Radio, Bluetooth Intercom and Mesh Intercom are already pre-installed in the SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON.
Thanks to these technologies, the SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON delivers an unparalleled level of intercom connections redefining the concept of “communication network”. With the Mesh technology, it is now possible to connect up to 16 people within a few seconds while maintaining a excellent quality.
The S3 CARBON comes with an Integrated and adjustable flip-down sun visor and an improved field of view thanks to the patented V-lock mechanism, to offer protection from the intense sunlight. The clear visor comes with a pre-installed Pinlock® 120 XLT anti-fog lense; furthermore, it can be replaced with a dark, silver mirrored or a yellow visor.
The SCHUBERTH S3 CARBON helmet has been developed in the same in-house wind tunnel where the Formula 1 helmets are tested, together with numerous road tests. The aeroacoustics of the S3 CARBON have been optimized to reach an outstanding performance of 85 dB(A) at 100 Km/h on a naked bike.
The linings of the SCHUBERTH S3 Carbon set a new benchmark in terms of comfort. The standard head pad has been developed to offer uncompromised comfort to all our customers, but those with "extreme head shapes" are usually forced to compromise with fit and sizes.
For SCHUBERTH compromise is not an option so with the C5 family we introduce the SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM. A specific program aimed to ensure the maximum comfort to the rider giving the option to customize the internal padding with more thickness options for sides, back and cheek pads.
