RidingGear.ca may be new but our roots run deep. In 1974 we started out as the Alberta Argo Wholesale Distributor and prospered in a quaint building for 16 years. Opportunity knocked in 1990 and Yamaha South was born. We sold and serviced for the off-road enthusiast for 3 years until it knocked again, this time re-branding to Yamaha & Suzuki South. A lot happened over the next 5 years, going through 500 to 1500 to 5000 sqft showroom expansions. To accommodate our expanding selection, now including motorcycles, it was necessary. By 1998 we were bursting at the seams. Ground broke on our new location and within the year Argyll Motorsports was opened, our crowning jewel, BMW Motorrad. As the only shop to service the European brand in Northern Alberta it made sense that Ducati would be the next addition in 2005. Having focused on growing our on-road selection over the years attention was needed for off-road and in 2008 Arctic Cat joined the sales floor. Throughout the years our 28,000 sqft facility required updating and grew even larger to our now 38,000 sqft space. In the year 2014 change came in another form, the original owners decided it was time to sell their legacy. Renovations, re-branding, and fresh new faces were thrust upon Argyll to bring it into a new era. The now Argyll Motorsports & Marine became the Edmonton destination for all things power sports. Warehouses had to be constructed when watercraft joined our extensive selection; 2017 Polarcraft, 2018 Godfrey, 2019 G3. After a total of 43 years, Argo Wholesale was closed and Argo retail sales were brought into Argyll. Our brick & mortar location was also most recently selected as the new home of Triumph and so the renovations and expansions continue. Looking back on where we came from and how far we have come over the years is truly humbling, but we look always to the future and our goal of providing that same experience and history to you in an online setting.

We do price match! Our price match policy conditions are as listed as below. If you're unsure if your order is eligible for a price match discount, contact us with the link to the competitors site and we can give you a definitive answer! Only advertised prices on available merchandise are matched. Competitor must be an authorized Canadian dealer. EBay auctions are not eligible for price match requests. Product must be new and in stock in the same model, size, color and year. Manufacturer part number must be the same. Prices are calculated before shipping costs. Items priced less than $50 are not eligible to be price matched. Price matched items cannot be combined with other promotions, they can however be used with discount codes. If you have already placed an order with us, price match can only be done if the order hasn't been processed and/or the shipping label has not yet been created.
