GS Communication System 2.0
The BMW Motorrad communication system facilitates wireless verbal communication between two helmets. It’s also possible to connect the BMW Motorrad Navigator with your smartphone, your bike’s TFT display or the audio system of any BMW motorcycle. The systems are designed to make communication as easy as possible out on the road: they’re lightweight, easy to use and deliver outstanding sound quality.
Features:
- Homologation of all components in the helmet: Even with the integrated BMW Motorrad communication system, the helmet still complies with the regulations of the ECE 22-05 standard
- Total weight of only 160g (depending on the helmet version)
- Fully integrated in the helmet (keyboard located on the outside of the helmet)
- The system is designed to always hide cables and guaranties and invisible integration for the respective helmets
- Operating time at full volume: approx. 10-14 hours
- Automatic noise suppression. Depending on the vehicle, communication is possible at a speed of approx. 200 km/h (with fairing) or approx. 150 km/h (without fairing)
- Automatic telephone call answering if no TFT-display is connected
- Music reproduction in stereo quality
- Bluetooth communication between rider and passenger
- Bluetooth connection to mobile telephone, navigation system, TFT-Display and audio systems of the K1600 GT / GTL and R1200 RT
- Simple three-button (four-button for System 7 Carbon) operation on helmet for maximum safety and functionality
- Easy usage of 3 buttons offers highest security and functionality while driving. (NEW: 4th button, with System 7 Carbon: One klick starts the voice control for respective, paired smartphone)
